RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES POLICY

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We stand behind everything we sell. If at any time you are not satisfied with your purchase at Comox Marine, you can return it for a replacement or refund except as noted below.

You may request a return authorization for product(s) you purchased at Comox Marine within the last 30 days.

If you are returning something in person to our Comox store you do not require a return authorization. Just bring it with your receipt during our store hours.

We do carry some items that cannot be returned: items with expiration dates such as flares, fire extinguishers, charts, and annual publications; items registered to the purchaser such as boats, motors, EPIRBS, PLBs; customized items such as splicing, cut lengths of rope, wire or hose, all electrical products, special order items or clearance items.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Special Order Items
  • Electrical products
  • Dated products such as sealants
  • Opened software, Digital Charts etc.
  • Remanufactured or Newly Overhauled Products
  • Clearance Items
  • Items missing original packaging

You may return your purchase to us after contacting us first within 14 days of receiving your order and we will gladly refund the purchase price of the product (not including shipping charges). Please note that the buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges, and the original shipping charges are non-refundable.  All free shipping orders may incur a shipping charge if any items are returned, if returned for reasons that are no fault of Comox Marine, the purchaser is responsible to pay the original shipping cost.

Refund Methods

Approved returns made within 30 days of purchase with a receipt (or proof of purchase) will be refunded with the original payment type or store credit.

If a refund is requested after 30 days of purchase with a receipt, we review on a case-by-case basis and if approved, your refund will be issued in the form of a store credit, a restocking fee may apply.

If a return is requested without a receipt, there will be a minimum 20% restocking fee and the refund will be issued in the form of a store credit. All returns must have the original packaging and the product must be in new and re-sellable condition. Shipping costs may apply.

Warranty Returns & Exchanges

If a product purchased at Comox Marine has failed or is not working as specified within the manufacturer’s specified warranty period, the purchaser or user must provide proof of date of purchase in the form of a receipt.

Once the purchase has been confirmed, the product must be sent to our warranty department to be tested.

After the failure and date of purchase has been confirmed, we will issue a full refund or store credit for the amount purchased or an exchange with a new product.
