Description
The MultiPlus-II unit effectively combines the features of the MultiPlus and MultiGrid devices. It offers all of the MultiPlus functionalities with the added flexibility of an external current transformer option for putting PowerControl and PowerAssist into practice and maximizing self-consumption using external current sensing (up to 32A). All of the MultiGrid’s features are also included, along with an ever-expanding list of certifications unique to different countries and built-in anti-islanding security.
Key features:
- PowerAssist: It prevents overloading of AC sources like generators by adjusting battery charging and providing a power boost when needed.
- Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS function) seamlessly switching to battery power in less than 20 milliseconds during grid or power source failures.
- Energy Storage Systems (ESS) This essential component provides flexibility by allowing integration with MPPT Solar Chargers and Grid-tie PV Inverters. The system’s adaptability makes it a powerful tool for those looking to harness solar energy or manage grid-tied power systems.
- Solar Energy Solution: The MultiPlus-II is a versatile power management solution suitable for off-grid and grid-connected PV and alternative energy systems. It seamlessly integrates with solar charger controllers and grid-tie inverters, ensuring uninterrupted power availability.
- 2 AC Outputs: The primary output offers seamless power transfer during grid failures or power source disconnects, ensuring a rapid transition of less than 20 milliseconds, allowing sensitive electronics to continue operating without interruption. The second output is designed for non-battery-discharging loads like water heaters.
- Parallel operation capability to provide virtually unlimited power: The MultiPlus-II supports parallel, split-phase, and three-phase operation. Up to 6 units can be connected in parallel to provide higher power output and charging capacity. It also supports split-phase and three-phase configurations, making it highly adaptable.
- On-Site Configuration and Monitoring: VEConfigure software allows quick and easy on-site settings adjustments, ensuring efficient system configuration, monitoring, and control.
- Remote Access: For remote configuration and monitoring, devices like the Color Control GX can connect to the internet, enabling operational data storage and display on the Victron Remote Management (VRM) website. This feature provides remote accessibility and the convenience of adjusting settings from a distance.
